Mavin and McNamara began their truck repair business on 1st July, 1975 becoming a Mercedes Benz Truck & Bus Service Dealer in 1980. and were appointed as a Sales & Service dealer for Mercedes Benz in November 1985.

When Freightliner was introduced to Australia in 1989 we were appointed as a Freightliner Sales and Service Dealer and in 2003 were appointed as a Sterling Sales & Service Dealer.

We have received awards as Mercedes Dealer of the Year in 1990 and 1994 and Freightliner Dealer of the Year in 2003 and 2005 as well as our most recent award Freightliner Regional Dealer of the Year in 2008.

Aside from offering Sales, Parts and Service for the Big 3 Daimler brand trucks Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Sterling, we are also authorised dealers for American engine manufacturers, Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar.

With a staff of 25 including 14 factory trained technicians in the service Department we are able to meet the customers need in regards to parts and service. We open from 8.00am to 10.30pm Monday to Friday, Saturday from 8.00am to 3.00pm and a 24 hour a day/7 days a week after hour’s breakdown service.
